Batchelor Construction Group has recently completed a project for the Waratah-Wynyard Council, involving the upgrade of a stormwater main on Bowick Street, Wynyard.
The work included the demolition and removal of existing fences, gardens, and pavement, as well as the old stormwater line and manholes.
These were replaced with DN900 Stormpro pipes, laid at a depth of around 2.8 meters and extending 82.0 meters in length. Additionally, five new manholes with a diameter of 1800mm were installed.
Upon completion, the area was restored with new pavement, concrete, fences, and gardens.
Throughout the project, the team maintained a respectful attitude towards the local residents, who showed patience and understanding, and now have new gardens to enjoy.
